Course Introduction

B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering with major in Artificial Intelligence (This course has flexibility of multi-level entry/exit options. The students may opt for M.Tech. after successful completion of four years. The admission to B Tech. 1st year is only through JEE mains (through JOSAA/CSAB counselling)

A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is an undergraduate degree programme in engineering that covers introductory subjects, practical classes, dissertation, and project work. The programme provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in specific branches of engineering, preparing them for careers in diverse industries. B.Tech. programmes have comprehensive curriculums under various specializations that provide practical knowledge on engineering concepts. In this programme, students learn computer programming, engineering mathematics, basic electronics, mathematics, engineering principles, computer applications etc. and also focuses on personality development such as soft skills, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

The B.Tech. programme at JK Institute emphasizs on Industrial visits and internships which help students to develop skills that improve their employability. Industrial visits provides students with real-world insights into how different functions in organizations work, such as core development, finance, logistics, and customer service. These visits also help students combine their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

The Bachelor of Technology programme at JK Institute is being offered in two streams namely: 1. Electronics & Communication Engineering, 2. Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in AI . The programme aims at a strong grounding in the respective fields of engineering with a strong emphasis on core fundamentals and practical exposure. The curriculum more focuses on project which aims at inculcating a sense of research and domain knowledge and provides more exposure to cutting-edge technological advancements.

Admission

For admission to the B.Tech. programme at JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, a candidate needs to pass the JEE-Mains exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The serious student needs to participate in the JEE/CSAB counselling procedure and get allocated the Institute from there only. There is no other means of admission procedure. Intakes for academic session 2024-25 in B.Tech. (CSE with specialization in AI) programme is 30 and 56 in B.Tech. (ECE) stream. For more information regrading the JEE-Mains examination, eligibility criteria, syllabus etc. visit the https://jeemain.nta.ac.in

Curriculum

Both programme of study focuses on industry-based curriculum and designed to meet the needs of industry and provide students with skills for employment and positive work values. The Institute teaches traditional subjects like math, physics, and science as well as modern subjects like Artificial Intellegence, Radar and Nevigation technologies, Blockchain, IoT, Cyber Physical Systems, VLSI, embedded systems etc. in the context of application of that knowledge to product design, development, and operation.
